Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.

Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resortis seeking a friendly and responsibleBeverage Cart Attendant Part Timeto join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.

This person will maintain high standards for golfers by ensuring quick, efficient and professional food & beverage service throughout the golf courses.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.

  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.

  • Greet all guests promptly in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Ensures that the resort and golf customer service standards are maintained at an exceptional level.

  • Makes a positive contribution to the work environment through presentation of positive attitude, demonstration of cooperation and teamwork, and constructive approach to daily events.

  • Comply with all hotel and golf policies and procedures. Demonstrates adherence to the resort’s safe practice procedures and makes recommendations to improve safety.

  • Maintain knowledge of menu prices and basic beverage knowledge.

  • Maintain standard drink mixing procedures, adhering to TABC policies.

  • Follows cash handling policies to account for all revenue received.

  • Attend all mandatory departmental meetings and training classes as required.

  • Stocks beverage cart with food and beverage items daily.

  • Operates the beverage cart throughout the golf course. Complete daily cart checks and report any issues to Supervisor.

  • Sells food items and beverages to golf players while on the course. Mix beverages upon request.

  • Cleans carts at the end of their shift and puts away any remaining stock.

  • Adhere to Resort’s SOP on safe driving of a resort vehicle (Beverage Cart).

  • Maintain daily product par and usage sheets.

  • Maintain condition and cleanliness of beverage cart barn.

  • Prepare daily food items, including hot dogs, sandwiches, sausages, etc.

  • Sells food items and beverages to guests. Mix beverages upon request.

  • Always maintain cleanliness of work area.

  • Stock reach-in cooler with drinks each day.

Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge and experience of beverage service and alcoholic drinks is preferred.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon hire.

  • Customer service orientated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing personality, and ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility in hours, including willingness to work weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to compute basic arithmetic, specifically in cash handling situations.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Must be able to push, pull, stand, sit, walk, run, and lift moderate weight.

  • Must be able and willing to withstand various weather conditions.

  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
