Boutique Center City Philadelphia law firm that specializes in real estate law has an open associate level position.
The successful applicant must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, but a strong preference will be given to an applicant who is also licensed in New Jersey. A general interest in real estate, planning and urban development is a plus.
The attorney must have both relevant experience and a proven ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, high volume environment. This is a position where dedication and a high level of performance will lead to increasing levels of work responsibility and opportunity. All attorneys with demonstrated aptitude will be given the opportunity to appear before City agencies, like the Zoning Board of Adjustment (“ZBA”), Board of Revision of Taxes (“BRT”) and the Philadelphia Historical Commission. Preference will be given to applivants with wxperience appearing before municipal Zoning Boards, and especially the Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustment. The successful applicant must also be a strong legal writer, as the position will also include general litigation involving real estate matters, like Quiet Title Actions, Act 135 Conservatorships and Failure to Disclose litigation.
