    On Red alert

Manchester United are already in turmoil a month before their first pre-season game.

United boss Erik ten Hag has publicly criticised the club’s new part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe for his lack of experience in dealing with the managerial situation.

The Dutch head coach also questioned whether there will be a swift resolution to the offer of a contract extension now he has been asked to stay.

The 54-year-old tactician rocked the club hierarchy in a Dutch TV interview this weekend in which he revealed the haphazard way they told him that he was still in a job.

Ten Hag was shocked to be visited while on holiday in Ibiza and even more surprised when officials admitted that they had interviewed Thomas Tuchel for his job.

The ex-Ajax manager’s revelations have exposed significant fault lines between him and 27.7 per cent United part-owner Ratcliffe.

    Benjamin Sesko blow

Arsenal have been dealt a transfer blow after it was firstly claimed that they “held the upper hand” for RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko.

The Gunners, Chelsea and Manchester United are all determined to strengthen their attack before the start of next season.

All Premier League giants want Sesko – who has a release clause worth £55.3million – while Newcastle have also joined the long-list of suitors.

There is a belief the North Londoners allegedly “hold the upper hand because they can offer Champions League football and stability”.

Those are two things the Slovenia international and his reps feel are “lacking at Chelsea and United”.

Sesko, though, has signed a new contract with Leipzig.

According toThe News, Morrell is now on Wrexham's radar and is available on a free transfer as his contract runs out on June 30 and he isn't interested in activating a clause to extend his deal by 12 months.
